Courses Around Commitment

New Horizons - CIBTAC

Courses are open to both male and female students and no previous skills are required. Training consists of class tuition and home study. Examinations (where applicable) will consist of a multiple-choice paper and a practical exam.

 

 

This leads to a British Confederation of Beauty Therapy and Cosmetology (CIBTAC) qualification. Our graduates are employable therapists in just 8 months.

 

A fast-track beauty training course, it particularly suits those students with commitments or younger children.

Monday - Friday 9.30-2.30 (1.30pm finish Wednesday and Thursday)

Term dates are based on those of Hertfordshire Education Authority.

On completion of CIBTAC, students will be qualified to carry out:

Aesthetic Treatments

• Facial treatments - manual and electrical
• Makeup
• Eye treatments
• Manicure and pedicure
• Waxing
• Related Theory

Body Treatments

• Body massage
• Figure diagnosis
• Electrotherapy for both face and body
• Related Theory

Students have the option to upgrade their course to include, CIBTAC Aromatherapy and Champneys College Indian Head Massage and Hopi Ear Candle Diplomas.

These courses may run outside normal College hours (see relevant short course details for dates and times).

"NEW HORIZONS" + CIBTAC Aromatherapy September - May + 1/2 day per week (2.00pm - 5.15pm)  (see Aromatherapy for details)	£6,750
"NEW HORIZONS" + CIBTAC Aromatherapy + Champneys College Indian Head Massage Diploma September - May + 1/2 day per week (2.00pm - 5.15pm) + 4 days in total, June to end July (see short courses for details)  Indian Head training may be half days (am or pm) or full days.	£7,200
